This role is responsible for ensuring theater-level data availability and resilience by managing high-performance Net App and Cisco MDS [. .. ] continuity. Essential Job Duties Provide expert engineering and administration for enterprise SAN/ NAS environments, specifically utilizing Net App technology and Cisco MDS fabric switches. Manage and optimize data replication and backup strategies using Snap Vault, Snap Mirror, and disk snapshot technologies to support theater-level failover operations. Lead the planning and execution of Disaster Recovery initiatives, ensuring rapid data restoration and system availability in the event of hardware or site failure. Oversee storage connectivity, allocation, and infrastructure for Windows Server (2012/ [. .. ] Server 2012/ 2016 environments. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with disk snapshots, storage, and replication to support disaster recovery and failover operations. Familiarity with U. S. military command and control communications systems. Experience in Network Services Support or technical consulting. Proven background in Disaster Recovery planning and execution within a Department of Defense (Do D) environment.
