In cooperation with the DRK Blood Donation Service Baden-Württemberg/ Hessen, the successful candidate will be appointed Medical Director of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine and Immunology Mannheim and granted leave of absence to fulfil tasks at the DRK Blood Donation Service Baden-Württemberg/ Hessen as part of the appointment to the W3 professorship under the [. .. ] Faculty Mannheim or the Medical Faculty Heidelberg. In particular, participation in the Cluster of Excellence Synth Immune and in CRC 1709 (Cellular Plasticity in Malignant Myeloid Diseases From Mechanisms to Therapy) is desired. Within the Ma Re Cu M model study program, the W3 professorship for Transfusion Medicine and Immunology is expected to participate in teaching in accordance with the regulations for W3 professorships in the Jülich model.
