Tasks And Responsibilities p The consultant (s) would be expected to provide project management, scientific, engineering, analytical, technical and/or policy support in (either one of) the following areas: Life science disciplines related to water resources (e. g. , hydrobiology, hydromorphology, hydrochemistry, etc. ) and hydrometeorology (e. g. , meteorology, hydrology, climatology) and living resources (biology, [. .. ] of the EU Water Framework Directive (2000/ 60/ EC) , Nitrate Directive, Marine Strategy Framework Directive, Floods Directive, Ramsar Convention, into national legislation, with proven experience supporting approximation processes in Eastern Partnership countries, particularly Ukraine and/or Moldova, and applying WFD principles in the context of transboundary river basin management, including joint governance of shared river basins such as the Dniester; Interlinkage between of water, disaster risk reduction and climate change; Social and political sciences and Multilateral Environmental Agreements (e. g. , international water law, environmental policy and law, environmental governance, capacity building, with a deep understanding of governance framework and institutions, national law enforcement, (UN Water Convention, Bucharest Convention, Extractive Waste Directive, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) , Convention on [. .. ]

The CPC plays a key role in supporting and [. .. ] the focal point in the Secretariat for co-ordinating and developing the OSCE s role in the politico-military dimension. The Regional Trial Monitoring Project, embedded in CPC/ PSS, South Eastern Europe Desk, focuses on supporting a more effective administration of justice with regard to serious corruption and organized crime cases in the Western Balkans through trial monitoring. Objective of Assignment: The project aims [. .. ] the project implementation; Provide a communications crisis management plan for the RTM project in strong collaboration with the project co-ordinator Necessary Qualifications First-level university degree in journalism, communications, political science, international affairs, or another related field; Post-graduate degree in one of above-mentioned disciplines preferred. The incumbent must demonstrate political judgement and analytical skills and must have the competence to convincingly present the activities and achievements of the Organization to media representatives and news agencies; to function in [. .. ] on high-impact tasks.
