Among the five Sections, the Seibersdorf Laboratories Services Section (SLSS) [. .. ] Section has a diverse complement of 35 staff, including technicians, drivers, procurement assistants and IT support. The armed SPF provides aroundtheclock security for the site. Main Purpose Reporting to the Director of General Services, the Section Head provides leadership to SLSS staff and contractors in the supervision and execution of all matters related to the site services required for sustained safe and efficient operation of the Seibersdorf laboratories, which include the development of strategic initiatives and plans, coordination with constituent Departments, [. .. ] the team, continually reviewing effectiveness, focusing on priorities and driving for excellence in line with the IAEAs quality management and resultsbased programming approach. Plan and manage all activities related to facility management, buildings maintenance, infrastructure development, utilities provision, local procurement, as well as information and communication technology to ensure efficient operation of the laboratories. Ensure that existing processes are regularly reviewed and develop, or approve, proposals for continuous improvement to create a best practice environment.
