Senior Water Resource Engineer

Senior Water Resource Engineer Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong presence across Australia, is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Water Resource Engineer to join their civil team based in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of experience in designing stormwater and drainage systems for a variety of projects, including land development, road, rail, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Utilise modeling software to prepare design drawings for flooding and stormwater projects. Ensure designs comply with Australian standards and practices. Review engineering plans to ensure they meet project specifications. Prepare concept and feasibility design documentation and obtain relevant approvals. Write technical reports, manage projects, and liaise with clients. Support and train junior team members. Collaborate with teams across Australia [...] needed. Requirements: Relevant qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering. Experience in stormwater design within an Australian consultancy. Proficiency in flood modeling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC, TU-FLOW, HEC-RAS, and 12D. Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
