At least two (2) legislative sessions of experience working directly in or with the Texas Legislature (e. g. , as staff in a legislative office, policy analyst, legislative aide, or working in a governmental affairs role) . Equivalent experience in another state legislature may be considered. Strong knowledge of the Texas legislative process, including bill drafting, committee procedures, and timelines. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to interpret legislation, identify policy implications, and communicate findings clearly and concisely. [. .. ]
