[...] Facilities Manager leads the strategy, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all utility systems and site infrastructureincluding refrigeration, water, gas, compressed air, HVAC, steam, energy recovery, water treatment, waste management, and building systemswhile overseeing contractors and technical partners. Before start-up: Consolidates best practices from other sites, enhances them with prior expertise, [. .. ] in-class utility and facility systems. Develop and execute a comprehensive Readiness Checklist to replicate and enhance proven systems from other plants. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Procurement, Office Management, and external partners to ensure optimal design and execution. Lead and actively contribute to design reviews (URS, P ID, FDS, 3D models) , ensuring alignment with safety, ergonomics, food safety, sustainability, and operational flow. Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to secure project success and operational readiness. [. .. ] engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. Fluent in German and English; additional languages such as French or Dutch are an asset.
