The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both hardware and embedded firmware design and a passion for creating robust
systems that operate reliably in challenging underwater environments. Key Responsibilities Design and layout of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using Altium Designer. Perform simulation and analysis of electronic schematics using PSPICE. Develop detailed electronic system specifications and contribute to technical documentation. Design analogue and digital circuits tailored to subsea
instrumentation and communication systems. Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware using C++, with an emphasis on real-time performance and reliability. Work with STM32 microcontrollers and associated development tools. Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to deliver integrated subsea solutions. Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics [. .. ] background in both analogue and digital circuit design. Proven experience in embedded C++ development for microcontroller-based systems. Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and ARM Cortex-M architectures. Experience with version
control systems (e. g. , Git) and debugging tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience with environmental testing (pressure, temperature, vibration) for subsea electronics. Knowledge of communication protocols (e. g. , UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) .
