We are looking for an economist with a proven trackrecord and publications in leading international journals, as well as an excellent international research network. The successful candidate should conduct policyrelevant and cuttingedge empirical or theoretical research with a strong focus on international economics broadly defined, including fields such as international trade, international finance, macroeconomics, geoeconomics and security. The candidate should become a faculty member of the Berlin School of Economics. Ideally, the candidate has interest and experience in leading a research group and translating research into policy advice, as well as experience in acquiring thirdparty funding.
